In light of more recent delusional bragging from RCG about all of the “free literature” downloads from its astronomically popular international phenomenon of a website, we’ll take this opportunity to review the myth of the COG’s “free literature” scam.

Since the days of WCG, when Herbert W. Armstrong abused and manipulated the word “FREE” as any decent advertising professional would, the COG has tried to set itself apart from mainstream Christianity by offering all of its literature, magazines and booklets without charge to the general public.

But depicting COG literature as being without cost is a sick distortion of the … More

David C. Pack, shovel in hand, broke ground on a road last week to kick off the construction of his new cult headquarters project, which still hasn’t received any bank funding. Things aren’t all rosy for RCG though. Pack recently started compiling his enemies list and rattled off some names in a recent “gang-buster” sermon where he revealed the inhabitants of Satan’s private country club, who, in his twisted brain, are all out to get him personally. Thirteen years after RCG’s founding, Pack sees the Gates of Hell opening against him, a new round of persecution he’s using to … More

WADSWORTH: David C. Pack is determined to do whatever he can to share the Gospel message of the return of Jesus Christ and the coming of the Kingdom of God.

“We offer more literature than any organization on earth and we give it away,” said Pack, president and pastor general of the Restored Church of God. “Our goal is to teach a way of life that is based on giving.”

To help reach that goal, the Wadsworth church is planning to construct a three-building world headquarters on Ambassador

Banned by HWA! shares an analysis of recent whining by RCG’s Vidal Wachuku about “persecution” he and other cult ministers have been suffering. Have there been religious purges, inquisitions and jack-booted thugs kicking down the doors of terrified women and children to be burnt at stakes? Did we miss the government crackdown on the COG? Has the Holy Roman Empire returned while we slept?

Nope. It’s just another temper tantrum from megalomaniacs angry that they aren’t being taken seriously. And whenever a COG group feels marginalized or picked on, it’s time to play the persecution card to get the brethren … More

David C. Pack and RCG have long despised free speech, especially online. It’s no wonder RCG’s The World to Come YouTube channel is full of videos with disabled comments.

Those that do have comments are full of obvious shills and all dissenting comments are filtered out. This is similar to UCG’s recent fight against critics on Amazon.

RCG and other COG groups would NEVER allow for an open content submission form.

If these are churches with strong beliefs they can defend against anything, if the truth is really on their side, and these are accountable, honest men blessed with … More

In his April 3, 2012 letter to the brethren, RCG’s David C. Pack lays out the usual visions of impending apocalypse while bragging about all of his awesome accomplishments and local media coverage. In the midst of doing so, he glosses over some important details and makes some strange assertions.

According to sources who wish to remain anonymous, Pack has revised the start date for construction on his personal shrine. He cannot borrow additional funds from the bank for the project, resulting in a renewed grovelling for member donations. RCG tried to borrow about 50 percent of it’s required funding, … More
